THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. JAMES

The present church building dates from1867, when it was built to replace the church built on a nearby hillside. The tower of the 14th century church still stands in a farm field and is in the care of the Redundant Churches Fund. Three bells which were in the original church are at rest in the nave of the present church.
