Most of the church dates from the 15th century, with traces of earlier work. Additions were made in the 16th century and major reconstruction work was carried out in the 19th century. The tower was rebuilt in 1705 and houses a peal of 8 bells. A Mural Painting of King David dates from about the time of the Reformation and the Church Screen is one of particular note.
