Bishop aquired it 5s. Osmund Stramin held this manor before 1066.

The Parish Church of Saint Beuno

The Church is said to be the smallest complete Parish Church in England and its walls

are thought to be twelth century. There are two small bells, one of which is said to be

of the 14th century and the oldest in West Somerset

The churchyard cross was erected in1966 on a base probably of the 15th century.
