THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST

A missionary church served Carhampton until the 14th century and this church was replaced by a new church dedicated to St.John The Baptist during the 1300s. The church was rebuilt between 1860 and 1870 as seen today. The church contains a splendid 15th century screen which is in keeping with the 15th century style of the church.
