THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS

The date of origin of the present church building is in doubt, but its treasures date from ancient times. They include medieval pews, a 12th century font bowl and a rood screen carved in the 15th century. In more recent times there have been added a memorial chapel and a sculpture of St. Nicholas which can be seen in a niche on the north wall.
